Lyrics of the song "Notice Me" by Zetta Bytes
today, i had the first swimming lesson. though, it's not the first swimming lesson of my life. perhaps, it's the first day that's why it's rather okay and it's not as tiring as what i imagined it to be. however, the pool was terribly crowded and travelling from one end to another proved a challenge. to travel to the end, i was ... "sexually violated" twice and "injured" several times. never in my life, i knew how dangerous a pool can be.
holding a board is a must for beginners like me. how sad. i had to kick my legs to propel myself forward, to travel the breadth of the pool. unfortunately, a complete idiot in sports; i can't grasp the concept and i ended up walking through and fro, five laps. how ironic.
later, that instructor taught us how to do the froggie style. i was exposed to this style when i was ten. however, being hydrophobic, i was hardly in the pool hence, most of my skills are forgotten. we were made to swim there again, using the board. this time, when we were travelling there, there's this odd instructor, who would chip in or comment.. "Breathe with your mouth~!", "Kick harder~!!", "Come on, swim.. swim faster..." and more comments somewhere close to that. i was sooo embarrassed hearing those. he had those group of kids behind him plus, it's not good having them to wait just for you.
there's several times when we were ask to hold our breaths under water or perhaps breathe through our mouth under water. i can stand being under water however, to breathe through the mouth needs concentration. that's no easy task!
finally, we were taught to track water at the 1.8m pool. i remember my mom teaching me once but i can't remember how to do it. that's a refreshment in memory work. it took me quite some time to figure out how to do it since i can't tell what the instructor is doing. sigh~ i pity my sister and my friend. they still can't grasp the concept.
it's still embarrassing to say that, i am the oldest when i got there, besides the instructor. next is followed by my sister and my friend. this is soo humiliating.
we went over to the mall near by to have our dinner and guess what? i didn't bring my wallet, my sister only had twenty bucks on hand and her friend? the swimming fee. the best part? we were waiting outside pastamania ordering food. =_= we had no choice but to call my mom over and collect the tab. this is just not my day. everything is going off tangent. this is soo saddening.
my sisters, my mom and i went over to rhiz carton later just to visit my aunt who went there just to stay there for the night. it's nice and amazing but however, i can't seem to find what's so great about this six-star hotel. it's just a status. my mom said that the view is fantastic. when i looked over to see those "fantastic" views.. all i saw was, construction works and more roads.. urbanisation. talk about pollution. what's so nice about these views? went into the room and and to have a sneak peek. it's nice and grand. comfy i must say. however, when my aunt told us about the communication service that they provide, to say i was stunned is the understatment of the century.
well, i don't really know the difference between five-stars and six-stars hotels. however, i can say.. to me, those does not really make much of a difference. in fact, i rather stay in some five-stars hotels instead. the stress isn't that great plus, the services or the ammenities might be better? afterall, it all depends on the situation and the environment.
