it's been a while since i've updated my blog.

i just came back from surburbia, sentosa. it's a french restaurant in which my cousin is working in. they really served some serious whooping delicious dinner for us. it's the second time, my family experienced such fine dining but, if we were to count or say restaurants only, then this is our first time. a whole new experience and it's very enriching. it's not bad and not as expensive as what we had expected it to be. it's expected that my dad complained that he needed maggi mee and all of us were bloated. =_= i wonder what type of stomach he had.

i can't and shall not bother to upload pictures into this post.

i had chicken breast with forie gras as my main course together with seafood soup. well, i can't remember all the names for the dishes.. there's escargots too! the way they prepare those escargots were very much different from other places. well, i kinda like both kinds. for this, it's very much merciful on out health but there's no sauce to enhance the favour. as for the other kind that i'd tasted, it's very oily but the taste of the escargots are there. yummy~ ^_^ oh~ before i forget, there's a cake specially baked for my sister as her birthday cake~! since, my sister asked for something weird and difficult- mango cheesecake, he didn't expect it to be good or nice. on the contrary, it's beautiful. the mango and the cheese goes well together. the cheese is thick and the ingredients compliment well with one another. he placed loads of effort and thought into the cake. he used unripe mangoes to blend in with the taste and so as to not to destroy the flavour. also, the ingredients used were specially chosen to blend with the cheese. the only thing he was disappointed with was that the cake had not enough time to set. that, was not really an issue when the cake was spongy and slightly firm. it's not hard and the entire cake melts in your mouth. mouth-watering? i would highly agree.

he made a special dish for my mom since, my mom can't or rather hated cheese to the core. salmon with pasta and vegetables. that alone, is enough to send my mother to the skies above. she sang praises and she was rather dramatic with her actions. dotz.

i was kind of disappointed that i was unable to eat tiramisu there. my aim is to try all tiramisu and compare all the different styles that i have tasted. ^_^ so far, i only like my uncle's cafe and tcc tiramisu. as for the rest, i'm sorry to say that it's unacceptable.

in vivo, i was unable to buy what i intend to buy. my mom passed me her earphones after i told her to. dotz. so slow! instead, we visited the job roadshow there and my parents and relatives were high on collecting freebies. =.= it's was an utterly embarrasing sight. my aunt was rather energetic in helping me gather information on my career prospects. she's rather anxious. i don't blame her. i don't have a clue myself. it's best if she shows me the path. at least, i do know what i can do and what can i not do with the current path i am taking. it's clear that i am not going into design. but, there's many more places for me to venture in. that's a though decision. >_<
