Lyrics of the song "Notice Me" by Zetta Bytes
today's the last day of the IT fair. today is also the first day that i had queue for the longest in my life. today is also the last time for me to queue for that long.
my dad heard about the promotion said by my mom regarding about our internet service. the internet plans had a special promotion in which one had caught the sight of my parents. the plan in which they had just signed was 12Mbps + 1Mbps. i have both home and mobile usage now. one has the freedom to choose either a LCD or a mini laptop. i had my sight on another internet service instead. however, my dad's the payer. had to listen to him. >_<||| my parents were greatly interested in the television. we had 5 laptops in total and my mom just bought a laptop yesterday. i don't think my parents would get another laptop. that's why my parents got the LCD instead. the ironic part, we don't watch tv and is currently having 3 tv now.
due to the attractive promotion, we had to queue up with the others. oh~ the irony. the queue is split into 6 parts. one separated from the next. the staff outside failed to inform us about the length of the queue. they only said that there were 2 parts. there's another additional 3 more which is hidden inside. the inner part was restricted to public... well, not restricted but.. it's way inside. hardly any public would venture in. leaving the length aside, we actually queued for 4 hours. well, not me and my sister but my parents. my sister and me were looking around basically - enjoying the time of freedom. however, we waited for my parents to be done. my dad was only interested in the LCD. for what? i have no idea.
the first queue was just a extension for the second part and the second part was another 'firewall' for the third part. after which, you can register yourself to get your official queue number. oh cool~!!! the fourth queue was to get your plans done and whatever administrative stuff completed. the fifth queue is for collection of items. the sixth queue was payment. all the queues had to wait really long and the staff there jumped numbers. i was holding on to 6325. the numbers kept jumping from 6324 till 6326. of course, we were not included. my mom was furious and voiced her displeasure really loud. the next one became our number. my mom really fussed a lot. i met my ex-classmate there and ex-tuition teacher too. managed to chat with them to catch up on old times and update my information. times really change people. i could not recognize them. my teacher was called by my sister and my friend called me.
by the time everything was over, all of us were starving. it was the first time that we had ate a lot. four of us actually finished a big plate of some gravy noodles and a even bigger bowl of fish head noodles. we had some fried tofu and chrysanthemum tea. we literally gobbled everything down our throats. it's really a long time since i ate from there. i ate there yesterday but... for my family, it's really a long time since i ate from there. it's nice to eat once a while.
samantha's friend came today to settle my mom's new laptop. my sister complained about the long waiting time and got her computer reformatted again. i am beginning to think that my sister just had to much free time to kill. reformat and look for the same information again. it's lame. had got my microsoft office updated from 2003 version into 2007. i am not getting vista despite the nice display features. there's just too many problems.
